Refers to the market for already registered domains, which are available for sale by the current registrant. Well known services are for example SnapNames.com and NameJet.com

Buy it now price.
ccSLD
Country Code Second Level Domain is the SLD for a country code TLD. Example: .co.uk
ccTLD
Country Code Top Level Domain. Example: .de (Germany), .fr (France), .es (Spain) etc.
Cybersquatting
A term used to describe the practice of registering and reserving a domain name for the purpose of future reselling to the rightful owner at an inflated price.
Domainer
A term used to describe someone who buys, sells and trades domain names with the main purpose of generating revenue from parking or from reselling domain names.
Domaining
The business of buying, selling, trading and developing domain names.
Dropped Domain
A domain which has been deleted and is available for re-registration by anyone.
Drop-catching
The process of using automated tools to register expired domains within a fraction of a second once being cancelled by the registry.
GeoDomain
GeoDomain refers to domain names that are the same as those of geographic entities, such as city names, counties and countries.
IDN
IDN stands for Internationalized Domain Name. An internationalized domain name (IDN) is an Internet domain name that contains one or more non-ASCII characters.
Low Ball
A very low or unrealistic offer for a domain name.
Monetization
The business of purchasing domains and running ads on a landing page to earn from traffic.
PR / Pagerank
According to Google, PageRank reflects Google's view of the importance of web pages. Important pages receive a higher PageRank and are more likely to appear at the top of the search results. In reality, a PageRank calculation is based on how many web sites link to a specific domain name.
Premium
A domain name which is of higher value. This term is also used to flag short domain names based on the domain name characters (A-Z) and the character positioning.
Push
Transfering a domain name to another owner who uses the same domain name registration service.
Registration
The act of purchasing / registering a domain name.
TLD
Short for top-level domain, and refers to the suffix attached to Internet domain names.
Tasting
The practice of using a (free) five-day "grace period" at the beginning of a domain registration for ICANN-regulated generic TLDs to test the marketability of a domain name. This practice is often used by so called "Drop Catching" companies.
Type In
The amount of traffic a domain name receives from users entering the domain name directly into a browser address bar.
Parking
Generating revenue with a domain name on a page containing relevant advertising listings and links.
Transfer
Moving a domain name from one registrar to another registrar. Moving domain names within one service is called "Push" (see above).
Typosquatting
A practice that relies on typographical errors made by users when inputting a website address into a web browser. Example: flwoers.com vs flowers.com
